The many small clear "bubbles" seen throughout this specimen
represent fat droplets which have accumulated (pathologically) in the
parenchymal cells.
Here and there are scattered patches of more-nearly-normal parenchymal
cells (e.g., arrows), where these cells' cuboidal shape, centrally-located
round nuclei, and relationships with neighboring cells and spaces can
be clearly seen.
