Note carefully the tissues which comprise both the tubules and the
stroma.
- The cells lining the tubules are not very well preserved. But
note that there are nuclei of various sizes.
- Also note that among the cells of the tubules are many, very tiny,
very densely-basophilic specks. Correct recognition should include
an easy explanation for these specks.
- The stroma includes numerous blood vessels, loose collagen fibers,
and associated fibroblasts. But this stroma also contains scattered
cells with conspicuous acidophilic cytoplasm.
