Glomerulosclerosis
RENAL IMAGE INDEX / RENAL STUDY GUIDEThis image shows two renal corpuscles from a patient with glomerulosclerosis (i.e., "hardening", or sclerosis, of glomeruli). The corpuscle at left is entirely sclerotic, with occlusion of capillary lumens and of Bowman's space. The corpuscle at right still appears functional, with blood in glomerular capillaries and with patent Bowman's space.
