Trichrome stain (collagen is blue) of penis. Vascular spaces are conspicuous in the erectile tissue of corpus spongiosum. and corpora cavernosa. For an excellent image of an H&E-stained penis slide, see Histology Guide.
The urethra is lined by transitional epithelium.
