Sebaceous gland in Skin
A sebaceous gland opens into the lumen of a hair follicle, which in turn opens onto the epidermis (toward the right, out of the field of view). (The position of the arrector pili in this image, immediately adjacent to the sebaceous gland, is a coincidental association.) Background tissue is dermis (collagen and ground substance).
