Meissner's corpuscle in Skin
Meissner's corpuscles are inconspicuous in ordinary, H&E stained sections. In thick skin, they may be noticed as patterns in dermal papillae which deviate from the routine appearance. Each is typically oval with layering more-or-less perpendicular to the long axis of the papilla which contains it.
